About Recycle Zone

So, you’re out and about – about to get on board a train or plane, or thrill seeking at a theme park.  You’ve enjoyed an ice cold drink, and you really really want to recycle it.  But, you can’t be wasting time wandering about trying to find the right place to put it.  You’ve got better things to do with your time.  So, we thought we’d make it easy for you. Recycle Zone is our programme to make recycling on-the-go easy.  It’s simple really. We’re investing in bins and infrastructure where people like you are – so that as you’re running for the train or queuing for that ride or window shopping, there is a recycling bin nearby. We’re working with high profile locations up and down the land to create Recycle Zones. 

We know – because you told us – that you really want to recycle – but hey, it has to be easy.  We want to make it easy for you.  Why? Partly because we recognize that as we put lots of cans and bottles on the market we have a responsibility to help you recycle them.  Also, because the more we get back the more we can recycle back into cans and bottles.  This is good for us all as recycling really reduces the environmental impact of soft drinks containers.

 Coca-Cola makes and sells soft drinks – that’s what we do.  We’re not recycling  experts, but we know some people who are.  So, we’ve partnered with Recoup, a recycling charity to make sure we get all the technical stuff right.  We’ve also partnered with WRAP – the organisation behind those lovely Recycle Now campaigns – as we want our recycling programme to sync with what they are doing too.
